FAQ
How to put on an Open Back Dress?
- Unsnap both the closures at the shoulder seams of the top.
- From the front, slide the sleeves up the arms of the wearer until the opening reaches their back (no lifting required).
- Once the dress is in place, pull the first panel across the back and snap it in place at the shoulder.
- Now take the second panel, pull across, creating an overlap, and snap again.
Why use Silverts Open Back Dress?
- Caregiver Safety: Caregivers do not have to lift or shift the wearer, avoiding risk of injury and burnout.
- Great for Limited Upper Body Mobility: Wearers can be dressed without lifting their arms or contorting their upper body as with traditional over-the-head tops. This is helpful for individuals with limited upper body mobility.
- Ideal for Seated or Supine Dressing: The open back means the dress can be put on from the front and snapped at the shoulders with minimal jostling. The wearer can be dressed from a seated, standing or lying position. The panels at the back can be snapped into place easily, providing full coverage and discretion from behind.

The length is longer - great for those in a wheelchair . Teal color is very nice and the edging around the neckline is attractive
We prefer dresses with a print rather than a solid colour.
I love the idea of the the dress. I found no washing info and had to come back to the dress to see how to wash it. I found the snaps very hard to close on several of the items that I bought . I had to have my husband do it for me and even he said they were hard. The material was Light weight so I had to put long pants under it. So these will be great during summer but I believe not good for winter. All and all still a nice dress.
Happy with purchase my mom is very comfy
This dress is good for my mother because she is in a wheelchair in long term care. I look for material that is soft and does not shrink or wrinkle in the facilities dryers. I have learned to buy 1 size bigger for mom ™s comforter. Chris M
